Overview
Mera Peak is one of the most popular and highest trekking peaks in Nepal, standing at 6,476 meters. The Mera Peak expedition is a 13-day trek that takes you through some of the most breathtaking scenery in the Himalayas.
The trek starts with a short flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, followed by a day’s trek to Paiya. From there, we continue our trek to Pangkongma and then to Ningsow, where we will spend a day acclimatizing to the altitude.
Key Highlights:
- Spectacular Scenic Flight: Commence your trek with an exciting STOL flight into Lukla, offering amazing aerial views of the mountain ranges.
- Five 8,000m Giants: Behold a world-class vista from the peak, featuring Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and Kangchenjunga.
- Explore the remote and less-frequented wilderness of the Hinku Valley, avoiding the typical Everest Base Camp crowds.
- Enjoy the special experience of camping on the glacier at Mera High Camp, set at a dramatic 5,800 meters.
