Reaching Annapurna Base Camp was unforgettable, and we owe a big thank you tour main guide Anoj and his assistant Madhu and not to forget, our helpful and dedicated porters too. 

With a group ranging from our 20s to 60s, they managed everyone exceptionally well, always attentive, caring and making sure each person was comfortable throughout the trek. 

Their patience, encouragement, and constant support gave us confidence every day.

I first met Anoj a few years ago during a trip to the Mera Peak region, where he was our companion and coordinator during the jeep transfers to the starting point of the trek. From the very beginning, he proved to be an extremely helpful, professional, and friendly person. The following year, I contacted him again to organize a trek in the Langtang region, and this time he accompanied us throughout the entire journey. Once again, the experience was excellent. His availability seems endless, his English is excellent, and his deep knowledge of the region, local cultures, and religious traditions made the trek even more interesting and authentic. On one occasion, he even personally arranged and purchased a domestic flight for us, helping to make the whole trip run smoothly. My partner and I felt very well looked after and greatly appreciated his kindness, reliability, and genuine passion for his work. I first met Anoj Khadka when my partner and I hiked the Everest Base Camp Trek in September 2017. From the very beginning, he took care of everything. He explained every step of the trek, what we could expect each day, including elevation gains, difficulty levels, and how to stay safe throughout the journey. One of the things I appreciated most was Anoj's focus on safety and acclimatization. He constantly monitored our pace to make sure we weren't pushing too hard and adjusted the schedule when necessary. Thanks to his guidance, we successfully completed the Everest Base Camp Trek without any major issues. Anoj was not only an excellent guide but also a knowledgeable teacher, explaining the mountains, local culture, and the significance of the villages we passed through along the way. His English is excellent, and communication was always clear and professional. Each evening, after arriving at our lodge, Anoj made sure we were comfortable, hydrated, and well taken care of. He handled meal orders, checked on our condition, and took care of any needs that arose. On several occasions, when we arrived at a lodge that did not meet his standards, he would tell me to wait while he sorted things out. Most of the time, I didn't even know there was a problem until after it had been resolved. That level of professionalism and attention to detail allowed me to focus on enjoying the trek rather than worrying about logistics. I was especially impressed by how he would even assist other hikers who were struggling with inexperienced guides. When I returned to Nepal for the Annapurna Circuit Trek in May 2025, I made sure to hire Anoj again. This time, I trusted him to plan my entire trip. All I had to do was book my flight and enjoy the experience. From the moment he picked me up at the airport until he dropped me off at the end of the trek, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. Every concern, question, transportation arrangement, lodging detail, and need was taken care of. Once again, Anoj's experience and attention to safety helped me successfully complete the Annapurna Circuit Trek. Knowing I could focus on enjoying the mountains while he handled the logistics made the entire experience stress-free. Even now, I remain in contact with Anoj and am currently discussing options for another trek in Nepal with him.
